There’s something magical about a summer evening, especially when you’re at the airport with a very cute 5-year-old who loves airplanes and has a vibrant, fun personality. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a little aviation enthusiast, with the help of his family and my husband, and it was an experience filled with laughter, wonder, and endless personality!!!

As the sun began to set, we arrived at the airport and were so excited to see this little dude and his family again. His infectious enthusiasm for these planes set the tone for the entire photoshoot. The sweat your eyeballs off warm summer evening added a touch of rosey cheeks, and glistening brows, for all parties involved.

As the evening progressed, we explored different areas of the airport, finding unique spots that highlighted his adventurous spirit. From getting a little drive on the tarmac, to getting up close to check out a vintage airplane, to helping Poppy and Daddy push the plane into their hanger. The photos captured not just his love for airplanes but also his boundless energy and curiosity.

I always love having the opportunity to photograph kids as they grow, and this guy is no exception. He’s always so kind and polite, while having loads of fun and keeping us all laughing! I’m incredibly thankful for him and his family!
